Ovulation tracking

Let's not play the Guessing Game

With Ovulation Tracking there's no need to guess your fertile days, it will help you identify which days you're most fertile. In women with irregular cycles, it may be difficult to know when they ovulate; ovulation tracking in such women can help them know when ovulation occurs. This will help them plan accordingly to give the best chance of conception.

Why Ovulation Tracking
  • Your cycle may change from month to month
  • All cycles are not created equal
  • You're fertile only for 12 – 24 hours
  • You may have a short post ovulation phase
  • Cervical mucus may help / hinder
Ovulation Tracking

CheQKmate offers ovulation tracking as one of the modalities of female fertility assessment. As a proactive step, we offer ovulation tracking to women who are not actually infertile, are keen on conception and want to know about their fertility potential. A positive sign of ovulation on ovulation tracking gives them an assurance that they are doing just fine and the confidence to take a step ahead towards parenthood.

Ovulation Tracking can also be a part of other treatment modalities like ovulation induction, IUI or IVF / ICSI or third party reproduction.

Ovulation Tracking at CheQKmate

We offer serial transvaginal ultrasound monitoring from Day 9/10 of the cycle till ovulation occurs. Apart from giving an idea about when ovulation is going to occur, it also gives information regarding the receptivity of the uterus for implantation.

The patient may need to visit once in around 2-3 days starting from day 9/10 of the cycle. Make sure to come on an empty bladder. A transvaginal scan requires only a couple of minutes and the information is shared with you then and there. During Ovulation Tracking, we not only monitor how your cycle works but also supplement it with treatment, if required, to increase your chances of conception.

After ovulation, the egg survives for just 24 hours while sperm survives for 2 to 5 days. Ovulation tracking helps you coordinate having intercourse/insemination at exactly the time of ovulation.

If the couple have timing constraints, CheQKmate also offers you ovulation tracking using home ovulation kits / blood tests. However, it is important to note that ovulation tracking using ultrasound gives you a more accurate and comprehensive overview of your cycle and general fertility.

Is Follicular Monitoring the same as Ovulation Tracking ?

Yes.
Actually what is done in Ovulation Tracking is measuring the size of the follicle over a period of 7 – 10 days. We cannot see an egg on ultrasound, what can be seen is a follicle (fluid filled bag that contains an egg), the size of which increases from 8 – 10 mm to 20 - 25 mm when it ruptures to release an egg (ovulation).
